The Professional Crisis Management system (PCM) was developed by a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts for use by educators and human service providers who understand the need for clinically-based crisis management services. PCM, an advanced behaviorally-based system, includes Crisis Prevention, Crisis De-escalation, Crisis Intervention, and Post-Crisis Intervention components. The PCM system utilizes a "hands on" competency-based training approach in which participants must pass a written and practical examination to ensure the highest level of skill acquisition. PCM is a complete crisis management system ensuring successful prevention and intervention with maximum safety, increased dignity and maximum effectiveness.
